I guess this is the place where I have to tell the world about myself. I am not too good at it, but will give it a try :-)
I am female, and I am obsessed with all things beautiful. I express myself by creating jewelry and wedding gowns. My creations have a unique look, combining the contemporary with elements inspired by fantasy, fairytale, celtic folklore and nature.
For the jewelry I work in precious metals, primarily Sterling, and gemstones.
For the gowns I have a definite preference for corsets and silk.

I got so busy after January, I did not login to DA until now.
Meanwhile, I managed to miss my mask being featured on DD and the overwhelming number of nice and encouraging comments it received.
I do not believe that I managed to properly respond to and thank everybody who contacted me with comments, support and encouragement. Your words touched me on a deepest level, and I do not know how to best express my gratitude. I am truly overwhelmed and cannot find words strong enough to describe what I feel.

Venturing on Etsy!

So these past days I felt it was time to venture into new territories :-)
And, as my top secret plan for world domination, I opened a shop on Etsy!

Right now I am working on a headpiece for a client, unlike anything I have ever done before. It is supposed to match a necklace she already has. The necklace looks like flowers sitting on what looks like a branch. It is oxidized Brass.
I am now using all my creativity to come up with that texture for the headpiece, which would be anything else but casting. So far I ended up hammering the metal to give it uneven texture and then melted bronze all over it to make it look bumpy like real wood would be. It seems like it worked, but I will only know for sure after finishing the piece.

I wish I could still buy a circlet from you. It was my dream since first I saw them. Now, almost twenty years later, I can finally afford one. I still love looking at all the old items you made. Thank you for bringin beauty in to the world.

I love your work. It has inspired me to make circlets for my daughters weddings. They really appreciated that I was able to add a touch of their own style and personality to their personal circlets.

I'm not much of a jewelry person to say the least, but i've always wanted to be able to pull it off, this is the kind of jewelry i love the most though! The intricacy, the delicate and carefully crafted placement that makes the eye move, it's all so well done i wish that copies of these would be made and sold if they're not already. These are absolutely beautiful, again to say the least!
