This was a headpiece created for the fan movie Born of Hope. I was so extremely flattered that they asked me to participate!
Born of Hope is a largely acclaimed fan movie project, a prequel to the Lord of the Rings. The movie is filmed in the UK and deals with the events of Aragorn's birth and features his parents Gilraen and Arathorn. In the movie, the headpiece was worn by Gilraen. For those of you who are curious, the filming of Born of Hope was recently completed, and it should be released for free viewing, hopefully, soon. You can read more about it on the Born of Hope website. The headpiece was made in Sterling and Brass with a carnelian for the center stone. When creating the design, I tried to make something that was new, yet to stay true to the Lord of the Rings' spirit. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
