Artist's Comments

This was one of the first designs I created, now refined.

It is a circlet, meaning a headpiece that is meant to be worn across the forehead, usually at a themed or alternative wedding. The design is medieval/elven inspired and very ornate. Sterling silver and a white moonstone as the center stone.

Thank you! It was really fun to make.

I try to create pieces that even though inspired by costume, are very wearable in the mundane life. For example, wear this piece with a sleek, contemporary gown, and nobody will call it "costume". This is what I think, at least :-) I may be wrong!

Yes, I'm watching you, aka stalking. I showed my fiance the jewelry you make and told him that could be a wedding present for me... :D

Hahaha :-)) Stalk all you want, you are the model of a dream stalker - definitely uplifting :-))

I try...

:giggle: How did you learn how to make your jewelry, classes or self taught?

It was a combination of both, and I continue to research new techniques and to experiment.

Neat, I like working with clay, haven't got my hands on metals yet.

Clay is a wonderful media, but doesn't it tend to stick to your hands a lot?
:iconthestrawberrycream:
Yes, but I've had my share of cuts on my hands from wire armature, too! I'm sure that happens a lot when you cut wire?
